About Potora Garden

About the company and the origin of the company name

The company was established in September 2012 and received approval from Iwate Prefecture in February of the following year.

We have started Potra Garden, a Type B employment support facility that provides a place for daytime activities for people with disabilities.

The company name "Potora" stands for possibility, togetherness, and radiance.

It was created by taking the initials of the three words:

With "Potota," anyone can have potential, and even if one person can't do it alone, with the help of many people it can be transformed into brilliance.

That is the feeling we put into it.

What is employment support?

Continued employment support is a training opportunity that provides a place for daytime activities for people with disabilities who have difficulty finding regular employment, and supports them in maintaining, improving, and enhancing their daily rhythm and work ability through work in a way that is tailored to their abilities, with the aim of helping them become independent and find regular employment.

At Potra Garden, we focus on improving communication skills and strive to create a bright and fun workplace atmosphere, where we help, encourage, and laugh with each other as we go about our daily work.

We also team up with other companies to produce organic dried fruits that are completely additive-free.

Our facility's users come into contact with a variety of companies, media, and customers, and as they gain more experience and involvement, the facility is becoming increasingly lively.

The future of Potra Garden...

Thanks to the cooperation of many people, approximately 10% of our users are able to find regular employment each year.

We work every day to address labor shortages and other local issues in a better way for disability welfare to contribute to the community, however small our contribution may be.
